Chevy: An Ergonomic Key Fob

In this project, we designed a key fob fitting the design language of a any certain car or car brand in Autodesk Alias, a surface modeling software. For this project, I focused on creating a key fob fitting Chevy's electric cars, as well as creating a key fob that was tactile, with keys that were raised at different levels to allow users to know which key is which without even having to look at the key fob. The design also has a physical key hidden inside the key fob, similar to current designs in the market.

I first ideated on multiple different round designs and color combinations to create a round-shaped product.

After this, I modeled the product in Autodesk Alias, using methods learned in class and separating modeled sections based on how they would 'split' in practice.

Finally, the model was rendered in Solidworks.
